Family Day at Myllypuro Sports Park combined baseball, community spirit, and a joyful family atmosphere during the Puumat–Expos game, drawing the season's record crowd. The event introduced families to the new junior team, the Helsinki Cubs, while offering activities for children and refreshments and Superbaseball league action for adults.

The sun was shining bright when the Family Day event was organized at Myllypuro Sports Park in conjunction with the Puumat–Expos game. The day offered a wonderful combination of baseball, community spirit, and joyful family atmosphere.
During the event, families got to meet the new junior team, Helsinki Cubs, coaches and hear about plans for the upcoming season. There was a warm and supportive atmosphere in the stands, and children got to try fun activities like batting and throwing stations and get acquainted with the sport through playful games.
Adults also enjoyed delicious refreshments and had the opportunity to watch the Superbaseball league game, which attracted the season’s record crowd.
All in all, the day was a successful demonstration of how community and joy across generations can be built around baseball. A great day for youth baseball in Finland – and an excellent start to the Helsinki Cubs story!
