Helsinki Puumat is a local amateur sports team. We play in the Finnish championship league and lower division. We welcome players interested in recreational baseball or more competitive play.
Join our action-packed Summer Baseball Camp at Myllypuro Baseball Field, June 2-6. Young players ages 7-12 will enjoy instruction in Kickball, Baseball, Softball, and Baseball5. Perfect for both boys and girls looking to develop their skills and have fun on the diamond!
Our goal has been to create an easygoing environment for playing baseball for over 40 years. We also strive for competitiveness in the Finnish league.
Baseball in Finland has deep roots officially back to the beginning of the 20th century, but not in the form that most countries know. Here, Finnish baseball (pesäpallo) has become one of the four biggest sports. Many of our best players have a Finnish baseball background.
